How The Rail checks poker facts

The Rail works from two kinds of source. The first is each casino's own pages: poker pages, hours pages, footers and contact details. The second is official material, such as AGLC standards and an operator's annual reports. All of it was checked on October 9, 2026.

Some casino sites block automated reading. For those, the guide read archived copies of the same pages rather than any secondhand summary.

Each fact is reported as the room publishes it. Where something is missing, the page says less. The site offers no playing advice and no view on which room is better.

When a casino's own pages give different hours, The Rail says so and marks the window "check with the room". River Cree's poker room deals 24 hours from Thursday to Sunday and from 11 AM to 3 AM on other days. The poker page and the footer name Monday to Wednesday, but the venue's pages do not agree on Monday and Tuesday. Those two days stay marked "check with the room".

PURE Casino Yellowhead publishes no current count, and 15 tables were reported in 2023, when VICI Properties bought its real estate. House-banked games such as Four Card Poker or 3 Card Poker are played against the casino. That is not a poker room, where players play each other.

The Rail is kept by the Rail desk, the editorial team that belongs to the guide. Its pages carry the desk's credit rather than personal names. Every fact on these pages has been checked by the desk, and each check is dated October 9, 2026.

The boards shown in the site's pictures hold only facts from the checked list on these pages, dated October 9, 2026. They add nothing beyond it. The page about the Rail desk explains more.
