About this guide
Who keeps The Rail
The Rail is kept by the Rail desk, its own editorial team, with no personal byline. This guide to Edmonton-region live poker exists because only three rooms deal it, and their hours differ night by night.

The Rail desk
The Rail is written and edited in-house by a team credited as the Rail desk. Its pieces carry that credit alone, never a byline or a personal name. The desk works for this guide and for no casino or poker room. Casinos, poker rooms, AGLC, Play Alberta and help services never pay the site.
This site is not a casino or a poker room. It takes no bets, holds no seats and has no accounts. It gives no playing advice, no strategy and no view on which room is better. The desk reports what each room publishes.
How the facts are checked
The desk checks each casino's hours, tables and address on the casino's own pages and official sources, and dates every check. Facts on the site were checked on October 9, 2026. Where a casino's own pages give different hours, the site says so. That window is marked "check with the room" rather than picking one.
Distances are straight lines between map coordinates, computed by the guide, not driving distances or times. Times are Mountain time, as each casino publishes them. A night past midnight belongs to the evening it started. Holiday hours are not covered, so check them with the room. The method page explains each rule.
How the pictures were made
Every picture on this site was made with an image program, not with a camera. Four scenes were made from photographs of real places. One shows River Cree Resort & Casino at night, another its table hall. The other two show Century Mile at night and the entrance canopy of Century Casino St. Albert in winter. Any people in the pictures are invented, and the site uses no free-licence photographs, so there are no photo credits to list.
How the guide is paid
The guide carries three paid links, each marked Ad, and every one sits on the home page. Each one leads to the same online casino partner, which goes unnamed here. The site earns a commission, and the partner can change. No casino, poker room, AGLC, Play Alberta or help service ever pays the site. The page on where the money comes from sets out the rest.
Writing to the desk
The Rail desk reads its mail at editor@enochcasino.online. Write to report an error, a room's hours that have shifted, or to ask how the guide is put together. That inbox serves the guide alone and reaches no casino. Anyone with a question for a casino should call the casino itself.
